How To Deal With Severe Pain

#TITLE#Dealing With Severe Pain#/TITLE# by Janet J. Mericle I must confess I have a strange behavior I will tell you about. When I’m in physical pain, like a stubbed toe or heading out for a run in pretty low temperatures, I say, “Mind over matter, mind over matter, mind over…” I continuously repeat this over and over again, and somehow… it works. This, obviously I am able do it as a grown up. How could I ever not think of me when I was a little kid and I needed a vaccination? Not even the strategic group of doctors, and my parents could hold me down me that easy. Now, as an adult, I can handle having a nurse poke around one arm looking for a “good” vein before leaving that bandaged arm for my other fresh one, without even wincing. My personal method is to think of something and watch a specific point in the room. Now that I think of it I believe it was not that painful as I thought but there was a lot of drama going there. Then, what’s the real difference? This happens to all the people but some get more scared than others. Based in the method I told you before, the mind could be capable of controlling your body. For me, based on my case, it is real NXIVM and Executive Success Programs. So far the clear meaning of pain is nothing else but ache. If something is hurting you physically, you will feel pain, in that moment, or in those series of moments. But then there’s something else: there’s how we handle the pain. You may have seen how reactions of people are in general even when they get hurt similarly We do all kinds of interesting things, particularly when there are unreasonable fears lingering about. We can probably say that individuals always choose to feel a stronger pain that the real level of sensation but… why we do that? This reaffirms my behavior against shots when I was younger. Directly speaking I think I was nervous. I was very innocent to understand it and just asked myself why they were bothering me. Instead of that, the doctor gave me a candy even if I kicked him in the face! Even an hour later I could get more treats if I kept telling everybody how much it hurt. The most I overreact, the most benefits I could get. Extra attention in a place full of kids? So I ask again, why would anyone choose this? Of course I need to ask again if there is a possibility to use your mind to understand pain. It’s taken some digging and studying as grown adult, but it seems I have found something interesting. When a friend of mine had a terrible accident, doctors mentioned how long and painful his recovering was going to be be but fortunately he enrolled Keith Raniere’s program. For everybody’s surprise he started a recovery program with Keith Raniere and he affirmed having a little pain but understanding how to feel it Clare Bronfman. This is just one example of a NXIVM program specialized in handling pain.
